Affective Commitment: refers to an employee's perceived emotional connection to their company. When an employee feels that the company's mission aligns with their personal values and goals and when they feel at home in the workplace, this is when effective commitment is found.
Continuance Commitment: is a measurement of an employee's desire to remain employed by the same company. Some people like to make careers with organizations that they truly have a passion for. This leads to job promotions, benefits, and lowers employee turnover.
Normative Commitment: The concept of normative commitment refers to an employee's sense of duty or accountability toward the company. The level of commitment that employees feel they should maintain toward a specific goal is known as normative commitment. An employee who feels pressured to remain with a company is one example.A benefit to this form of commitment can be bonuses and small recognition rewards/certificates.
