Jim is a 23-year-old truck driver for the past 5 years. His girlfriend Rebecca is the same age neither of them have children and are happy living together. Lately Rebecca has noticed a change in Jim's behaviour that started around the time Jim was involved in truck accident which left him with a shoulder injury that required surgery. When discharged from hospital Jim was prescribed oxycodone, for pain relief. Jim has had 6 weeks off work and seem to have recovered remarkedly well but is reluctant to return to work. Rebecca also works full time and noticed when coming home from work, Jim's best mate Leon (Gym Instructor / Personal Trainer) was there every day and Jim's mood would change after Leon would leave. Rebecca thought Jim needed more time for recovery. The following week after arriving home from work she noticed a few beer cans in the bin and empty packets of oxycodone. When she confronted Jim, he started yelling at her and told her to mind her own business and that he wouldn't be recovering so well, if he didn't have a few pain killers. Later, Jim tells Rebecca that he needs help with his dependency as he would like to return to work.
